Harry B. Jewett III, P.E., R.P.L.S. | Development Manager/Partner

With over 50 years of civil engineering and planning experience, Harry Jewett has worked on an extensive range of meaningful projects. Upon graduation from Texas A&M, he joined a respected engineering firm in Houston. In 1970, Harry relocated to San Antonio to work on the San Antonio HUD Model Cities Project. In 1971, Harry decided to open his own architectural, civil engineering, field surveying and urban planning firm, Harry Jewett Associates (HJA). Since inception, HJA has been involved with municipal infrastructure projects, land development projects, and master planning in San Antonio, Laredo, Houston, Galveston, and other locations in Central and South Texas.

Al Kay | Financial Partner

A lifelong Texan, Al Kay has deep ties to the land of the state. He began a 50 year successful career owning an Allstate Insurance Agency. Along the way, in order to get back to his love of the land, Al acquired a ranch at Whitsett in 1975 and another ranch in McCullen County in 1992. After selling his Allstate Agency in 2011, Al joined Independent Insurance Center as a partner, which he turned over to his son in 2015. Presented with the opportunity to participate in this dynamic new development, Al was enthusiastic to participate in a premium mixed use project.
